Job Description

Pay Range: $24 to $36 per hour; OT over 8 in a day and 40 in a week

We manufacture, assemble and test valves and actuators for the Aerospace and Power Generation markets. Position Summary

Service and troubleshoot hydraulic test stands, power supplies, and other hydraulic equipment in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair and troubleshoot hydraulic test equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for potential problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and make all necessary adjustments for operations.
  • Assist with machine installations and rearrangements using limited rigging techniques.
  • Fabricate tubing, ridged piping and fittings for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
  • Work with and support Facilities personnel as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 3-5 Years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems and components.
  • Experience in a combination of any of the following: metal fabrication, electronic gauges, basic electrical knowledge and wiring, high pressure hydraulic operation, basic plumbing, and/or welding.

May include lifting up to 50 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
  • The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection, and appropriate footwear. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
