Position Overview
The Program Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the successful execution and operations of iJAG programs within schools. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, coordinating program activities, supervising a team of education specialists, and ensuring the effective implementation of the organization's mission and goals. The Program Supervisor provides the support and resources necessary for a team of education specialists to implement the iJAG model in schools while collaborating with school administration regarding program progress and outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Implements the iJAG model within several school districts
- Collaborates with Regional Program Administrators to develop and refine program goals, objectives, and strategies.
- Participate in developing new programs or expanding existing ones.
- Lead the comprehensive implementation of the iJAG model across multiple school districts, ensuring fidelity to program standards and maximizing its positive impact on student success and workforce readiness.
- Coordinate with school administrators, educators, and community stakeholders to customize and integrate the iJAG model into each district's unique context, fostering a culture of student engagement, academic achievement, and career advancement.
- Continuously assess program effectiveness, collect data-driven insights, and collaborate with internal and external partners to innovate and optimize program delivery, ultimately empowering students to achieve their full potential and thrive in the ever-evolving job market.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with leadership, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Work-Based Learning Initiatives
- Work with education specialists to develop, implement, and oversee work-based learning programs in collaboration with school administrators, teachers, and industry partners.
- Ensure that work-based learning activities align with curriculum requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with local businesses and organizations to identify and secure internships, job shadowing, and apprenticeship opportunities for students.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of work-based learning initiatives, collecting feedback from students, educators, and industry partners to inform program improvements.
- Stay up to date on industry trends to ensure that work-based learning opportunities are relevant and beneficial to students' career pathways.
- Oversees a team of education specialists
- Provide direct supervision to education specialists, offering hands-on guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
- Conducts timely and comprehensive performance evaluations for education specialists, offering valuable feedback and recognition to foster continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with the regional program manager on performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conducts site visits and observes classrooms to ensure adherence to the iJAG model and that standards are met.
- Ensures the team meets various deadlines, including documentation, training, event preparation, data entry, and more.
- Participate in the following committees: Events, Training, Data, and Program Expansion.
- Prepare outcome reports and site updates.
- Participate in national and state seminars as appropriate.
- Advocate for the iJAG program and enhance its visibility in all external interactions, including networking events, presentations, and school and community engagements, to promote awareness and support for our mission.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights to inform instructional decisions aimed at maximizing student success and achieving program outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
- Commitment to iJAG's mission and values, with a passion for empowering students to reach their full potential.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, or related field (Master's Preferred).
- 3+ years of effectively supervising a diverse team, including remote staff, demonstrating the ability to foster collaboration while maintaining high-performance standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite applications.
- Statewide travel required (primarily day travel).
