Job Summary:
Job Description:
Responsibilities
Image Review & Adjudication
Perform image review and violation adjudication as a primary daily responsibility — reviewing traffic enforcement images on a computer screen and determining whether violations meet the criteria for citation issuance.
Apply jurisdiction-specific rules, violation thresholds, and evidentiary standards consistently and accurately across all assigned programs.
Assess image quality, vehicle identification, and violation elements before transmitting to the next processing stage.
Maintain a high level of personal accuracy and throughput, setting the standard for the team.
Team Support & Floor Leadership
Serve as the first point of contact for Image Review Associates during their shifts — answering questions, clarifying program-specific adjudication standards, and helping resolve routine issues without requiring supervisor involvement.
Assist the Image Processing Supervisor in managing daily queue priorities, workload distribution, and shift coverage as directed.
Monitor team throughput and flag volume concerns, queue backlogs, or pacing issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Step in to cover additional review volume during high-demand periods or when staffing is short.
Act as the shift point of contact in the supervisor's absence, escalating any issues that require supervisory authority.
Quality & Accuracy Support
Help associates understand and consistently apply quality standards, adjudication criteria, and program-specific requirements through example and peer guidance.
Identify patterns of recurring errors or confusion among team members and communicate observations to the supervisor for coaching and calibration purposes.
Participate in quality audits, calibration sessions, and team meetings to stay current on standards and help reinforce them on the floor.
Flag ambiguous or complex images that fall outside standard adjudication criteria to the supervisor or QA team for review.
Systems & Operational Coordination
Report system issues, image quality problems, processing errors, or unusual volume patterns to the supervisor promptly.
Assist with onboarding new Image Review Associates by serving as a floor resource, answering questions, and modeling correct review practices.
Ensure all data entry, image classifications, and processing records are completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
Comply with all Elovate policies, data privacy requirements, and program-specific confidentiality standards.
Requirements
1+ years of experience as an Image Review Associate or in a comparable image review, data processing, or production operations role.
Demonstrated accuracy and consistency in image adjudication, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quality and throughput benchmarks.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy at volume.
Clear and professional communication skills — able to explain adjudication standards and program requirements to peers in a helpful, constructive way.
Reliable and self-directed, with the ability to keep the team on track without formal supervisory authority.
Comfortable working in a production environment with daily throughput and quality expectations.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with multiple programs or jurisdictions across Elovate's enforcement portfolio.
Experience with violation management platforms such as CiteWeb or similar systems.
Prior experience in a team lead, senior associate, or floor support role in a production or operations environment.
AI & Technology
Elovate uses AI-assisted tools in the image review workflow. The Image Review Team Lead is expected to work confidently alongside these tools and help associates do the same.
Work with AI-assisted image processing tools that may pre-screen images or flag potential violations — applying your own judgment to review those outputs and make the final adjudication decision.
Help associates understand how to use AI-assisted tools appropriately — reinforcing that AI supports the review process but does not replace the human judgment required for citation issuance.
Flag unexpected AI tool behavior, unusual outputs, or accuracy concerns to the supervisor so they can be escalated and addressed.
Participate in training sessions on new AI-assisted tools and help onboard associates to updated workflows as they are introduced.
Model responsible AI use on the floor — always reviewing, verifying, and taking personal accountability for every adjudication decision.
