Requirements / Qualifications

Upon hire, the successful applicant will need to obtain:
TB Clearance
Coaching Certificates (Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussions and Sudden Cardiac Arrest).
Valid CPR/First Aid Certifications (Online classes NOT accepted).

Additional Criteria:

Must be able to communicate effectively with the Athletic Director
Must be able to plan and execute a practice
Must have knowledge of rules and strategies of the sport
Must be able to demonstrate good sportsmanship
Must be able to perform other duties related to coaching such as but not limited to: effective communication with parents and staff; development of a positive working relationship with booster clubs; appropriate supervision of students.
Must have the ability to work with inexperienced football players
Must have time availability to commit to a summer program and the duration of the football season

Athletic Directors may add any further qualifications they have established for particular positions.
