About the role: 



The Industrial Software Engineer designs, develops, and maintains software systems that interface with physical equipment, sensors, and control systems in an industrial environment. This role emphasizes real-time performance, reliability, safety, and integration with hardware systems, such as embedded controllers, in industrial environments.



What you will do:




  • Software development

  • Coordinate with electrical engineers on CAN bus signals and timing constraints

  • Work with mechanical engineers to understand limits and failure modes, align with controls/energy engineers on algorithms and tuning parameters

  • Design and release of software in line with the project plan

  • Sync with manufacturing on diagnostics and serviceability

  • Testing and verification: validate CAN messages, verify sensors, and run fault injection tests on control software

  • Integration and commissioning; proving full system function and works as intended in reality

  • Documenting processes and working with the compliance team

  • Project support and process participation



When & Where:




  • Hybrid Work Schedule in the office 3 days a week

  • Combination of: Office, manufacturing floor, and field-testing environments

  • May involve: Exposure to industrial equipment, PPE requirements, and Occasional travel (customer sites, testing facilities)
