About the Department
Manages a potential multi-shift operation located within Livesay correctional institution.
Coordinates with contractor to ensure production requirements are met.
Provides services in the most efficient & economical manner while supervising/teaching inmates skills that can be utilized upon their release.
Select, train and evaluate personnel.
Establish an effective quality control program with proper waste control.
Maintains a work environment that is safe & healthy in accordance to state and OSHA requirements.
Directs the Attendance of 60 + inmate workers and prepares the necessary reports.
Coordinates activities with the contractor, institutional personnel and industries.
Schedule subject to change to meet the demands of the industry.
Position Duties
A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience
OR
An associate degree with 2 years relevant program experience
OR
A high school diploma and 4 years relevant program experience.
