The Information Data Administrator is responsible for the governance, accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of global product and supply chain master data across The WAC Group. This position serves as the primary data steward for product, material, SKU, attribute, pricing, parts, and related information maintained in SAP and integrated business systems.
The role works cross-functionally to ensure data is complete, consistent, timely, and aligned across systems. This position also develops data standards, improves business processes, and supports system initiatives.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the creation, maintenance, governance, and lifecycle management of SKUs, materials, product attributes, pricing, costs, parts, and related master data for new and existing product lines.
- Partner with Product Management, R&D, Purchasing, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and other departments to collect, validate, approve, and maintain accurate data and resolve discrepancies in SAP and connected systems.
- Establish and maintain naming conventions, data definitions, required fields, product hierarchies, units of measure, status codes, and other master-data standards.
- Monitor data quality through audits, reporting, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective action for incomplete, duplicate, obsolete, or inconsistent records.
- Maintain pricing for standard, custom, made-to-order, and special-order products, including periodic updates and validation across systems.
- Support catalog, website, pricing-tool, and product-information reviews to ensure customer-facing and internal data remains accurate and consistent.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate data-management processes in collaboration with Supply Chain leadership and IT.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and performance measures that communicate data quality, processing timelines, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for master-data questions, train users on data processes, and mentor junior administrators or interns as assigned.
- Train and support employees who create, request, review, approve, or use master data.
- Perform regular data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and quality audits across SAP, the integrated content management system, pricing systems, product catalogs, and other connected platforms.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and post-implementation validation for systems affecting product or supply chain data.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Critical Success Factors:
- Success in this role will be measured by the accuracy and completeness of master data, timely completion of data requests, reduction of pricing and product-data errors, compliance with data standards, successful resolution of data-quality issues, and effectiveness of process improvements across systems and departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of related experience in master-data management, data administration, supply chain data, product information management, ERP administration, or a similar discipline.

- Experience using SAP or a comparable enterprise resource planning system.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively across departments and organizational levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability.
Preferred Experience:
