Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT environments through monitoring, automation, and regular patching.
  • Managing both physical hardware and virtualized/cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) to enable business continuity.
  • Installing, configuring, and updating physical and virtual servers (e.g., Windows/Linux), storage systems, and networks.
  • Managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including Azure or AWS infrastructure.
  • Using specialized tools to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal uptime.
  • Utilizing scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., DevOps) to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
  • Implementing security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and patching schedules to protect data and infrastructure.
  • Establishing backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Capable to perform backup restoration whenever needed.
  • Acting as an escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Working with developers and IT teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application needs and company growth.
  • Proactively monitoring and optimizing network and system performance, including capacity planning and trend analysis.
  • Driving proactive issue resolution through root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, SOPs, and incident resolutions.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computers (or) Networking

Certifications:

  1. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  2. Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE)
  3. Certified Data Center Professional

Cloud Solutions certified by Microsoft or AWS
