Role Summary
As an internal parts sales development representative is responsible for supporting the growth and development of the heavy duty truck parts sales activity and performance through direct, customer prospecting, qualifying and relationship building within your assigned territory. Essential and Specific Responsibilities for this position are outlined below.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support new business development and growth for the heavy duty truck parts customer base within assigned territory through new customer prospecting, development and relationship growth.
Achieve or exceed annual, quarterly and monthly goals and objectives.
Constantly improve sales effectiveness and efficiencies
Work closely with outside parts sales team within assigned territory to maximize sales/leasing unit volume/margin, net profit and customer satisfaction.
Prospect for new customers and act as frontline
Specific Responsibilities:
Prospecting-Cold Calling/Lead Generation/Customer Relations Development, Customer Touches and Decision Maker Identification.
Data Mining to identify historic activity, inactive accounts, renewing relationships and new opportunities. Pre-qualify and set-up customer appointments as well as preparing proposals for the Med Duty
Maintain daily/weekly Customer Call/Touch/Lead Reports in Corp. CRM System.
Effectively support the Outside Parts Sales Reps in the management of on-going customer relations
Complete all training material in a timely manner and with the highest degree of proficiency.
Support the initiatives of other departments within territory
Help To maximize Parts margins/profits within territory
Distribute to Prospects/Customers, product/promotional literature and proposals
Achieve or exceed goals and objectives as established along with Customer Satisfaction Initiatives and ratings.
Perform other tasks as assigned
Professional Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the highest degree of energy, self-confidence and integrity and the ability to perform well without daily supervision
Ability to successfully negotiate with prospects/customers at all management levels
Ability to work under pressure both externally and internally across department lines, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple tasks simultaneously
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Exceptional Customer Service Orientation and phone skills to reach Decision Makers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Adept at quickly learning new business software systems-Fusion/Prophet-CRM/Etc.
Some travel may be required
