Inside Sales Representative Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative supports revenue growth by generating and converting leads, expanding dealer participation, and driving adoption of auction services and digital auction tools. This role builds relationships with dealers and inventory sources through consistent outbound outreach, account follow-up, and customer education. The Sales Representative supports buyer and seller onboarding, promotes auction participation, and maintains accurate CRM documentation to support performance reporting and pipeline visibility.
Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative:
- Prospect and engage new and existing dealers through phone, email, and text outreach.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline through lead generation and follow-up activities.
- Support dealer onboarding and educate customers on auction platforms and bidding tools.
- Promote auction participation, online bidding, and account reactivation campaigns.
- Identify customer needs and recommend auction solutions and services.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to support customer satisfaction.
- Assist with sale-day dealer support, registration, and digital participation.
- Stay current on auction schedules, policies, and digital tools.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Automotive dealership, customer service, hospitality/restaurant, or related experience.
- Professional communication skills, via phone, email, SMS, and virtual platforms.
- Able to use sound judgment when handling customer concerns and escalating issues appropriately.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient with technology platforms and learning digital tools quickly.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, call center, account support, or business development.
- Automotive, auction, dealership, fleet, or related industry experience preferred.
- Experience with CRM and outbound calling tools preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a computer and communicate regularly by phone and electronic messaging.
- Occasional local travel for dealer meetings, training, or auction events.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
