What You’ll Do
- Support full-cycle accounting activities related to manufacturing operations
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reporting
- Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory, and cost trends
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support informed decision-making
- Assist with inventory accounting, costing, and operational financial analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and system optimization
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements across Canadian and U.S. operations
- Support ERP and reporting processes, including data validation and analysis
What We’re Looking For
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- CPA designation completed or actively pursuing is an asset
- Manufacturing and/or CPG industry experience is required
- Solid understanding of inventory, costing, and manufacturing accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and partner effectively with both Finance and Operations teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment; proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
Notes
- Located in: Richmond, BC (Hybrid)
- Periodic travel to Blaine, Washington and possibly Sussex Wisconsin
- $80,000–$90,000 base salary + 10% bonus
