Job Description
Inventory Logistics Specialist
Protect the standard of a 75-year tradition.
At Scranton Motors, we don't just "park cars." We manage a multi-million dollar inventory of premium Cadillac and GMC vehicles. We are looking for an organized, professional Inventory Logistics Specialist to join our Vernon team. This is a vital role for someone who is meticulous, enjoys being active, and wants to grow within a stable, family-oriented company.

Why Start Your Career at Scranton Cadillac GMC?
We treat every team member like family. While many "lot" jobs offer little more than a paycheck, we provide a professional environment where your reliability and attention to detail are truly valued.
  • Career Advancement: Many of our top service advisors and sales professionals started in this very role. We promote from within.
  • Professional Work Environment: Work with the latest tools and systems designed to help you succeed.
  • True Work/Life Balance: A solid, dependable schedule designed with you and your family in mind.
  • Pride of Ownership: You are the gatekeeper of our dealership’s first impression.

Comprehensive Benefits Package
  • Health: 5 different Anthem Medical plans with company participation.
  • Dental: 2 comprehensive plans through Delta Dental.
  • Wealth Building: 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Time Off: Paid Vacation and Paid Sick Time.
  • Development: On-the-job professional development and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Safely move and organize new and used vehicle inventory to maintain dealership display standards.
  • Asset Protection: Inspect incoming vehicles for precision, ensuring every vehicle on our lot is showroom-ready.
  • Logistics Support: Assist sales and service departments with vehicle flow, customer deliveries, and lot organization.
  • Maintenance: Ensure the lot remains clean, safe, and professional in all weather conditions.

What We Are Looking For
  • Professionalism: Neat in appearance with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Responsibility: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory. You will be handling high-value luxury property.
  • Organization: Self-motivated and able to manage tasks efficiently without constant supervision.
  • Reliability: Punctual and ready to join a team of long-term co-workers.
If you’re ready to move into an environment that appreciates your effort, apply today to join the Scranton Motors tradition.

Hireology Optimization Tips for this Role:
  • The Job Title: Avoid just "Lot Porter." Using "Logistics Specialist" or "Operations" in the title attracts candidates who have military backgrounds or previous experience in high-end retail/valet roles.
  • Emphasize Growth: Higher-end candidates for entry-level roles are often looking for a "foot in the door." Clearly stating that you promote from within helps attract those with long-term ambition.
  • Benefit Placement: Even for entry-level roles, leading with your strong Anthem and Delta Dental benefits differentiates you from smaller independent shops that may not offer full packages.
