Job Description

Position Overview:



Performs a variety of tasks relating to all inventory items received, picked, stocked, and shipped in a manufacturing environment.  



Essential Functions:




  • Basic inventory control functions

  • Monitor inventory levels for accuracy

  • Organize and maintain materials on hand

  • Assist with loading / unloading materials from trucks with use of forklift and / or pallet jack.

  • Chemical management to include stocking, and checking expiration dates

  • Work order processing to include order picking delivering kits and completing ERP transactions

  • Complete Daily Cycle Count tasks; create count sheets and audit discrepancies

  • Bin Stock Control and Replenishment

  • Material logistics between multiple locations on campus

  • Monitor / order shipping materials

  • Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers

  • General housekeeping
