Del Amo Motorsports Group is looking to hire an Inventory Clerk at our Chula Vista location.



PRIMARY FUNCTIONS



(The following duties for the position listed shall include but are not limited to:)



 




  • Create and implement a continuous inventory counting/tracking system to achieve 98% inventory accuracy.

  • Work with interdepartmental management team to enforce, correct and reduce errors from all staff members. Identify and correct all discrepancies regarding bin location and quantity of product.

  • Maintain department’s inventory through stocking and seasonal orders. Review and adjust Min/Max quantities to ensure proper levels of items and a smooth & accurate ordering process.

  • Create and maintain daily and weekly inventory synopsis reports for management regarding all inventory.

  • Implement and maintain an inventory return and exchange schedule. Identify slow moving part numbers/old inventory and communicate to management team.

  • Advertise products on social media to promote sales.

  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.

  • Greets and directs visitors to the company.

  • Check in visitor’s with gear and issue a claim check for stored gear

  • Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.

  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.

  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
