Job Description

Job Summary

Conducts daily counts and reconciliations in accordance with Nordson’s established Inventory Control, Safety and Quality policies and procedures.  Assists in root-cause analysis and problem solving.  Participate in NBS Next culture activities.  

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors count completeness reports; identify materials to be counted; helps ensure 100% count completeness.
  • Conducts daily counts, reviews results; determines cause of errors, codes count accordingly.  
  • Inputs/maintains count records and reports via SAP.  
  • Accurately performs material transactions and Master Data maintenance as assigned.
  • Works with representatives from a broad range of functional areas (customer service, warehouse, accounting, purchasing, receiving, assembly, etc.).

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Some college preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in inventory control, materials, production, or cost accounting environment.
  • Cycle count and record reconciliation experience preferred. 

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing, and inventory control functions.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter  
  • Math/numeric aptitude
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, ability to multi-task.
