Job Description

Assists Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring data integrity across multiple sites, and supporting purchasing activities to maintain optimal stock levels. This role bridges inventory control, data analysis, and procurement coordination to support efficient operations, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains and updates inventory records across PT’s multi-site inventory systems at elevated levels of accuracy.

Monitors cycle count results.

Processes inventory adjustments as needed.

Researches and performs root cause analysis and analyzes variances.

Assists in providing corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.

Participates in routine audits and reconciliation to ensure alignment between system data and physical inventory.

Investigates discrepancies and implements corrective actions.

Maintains inventory-related reports and KPI measurements for reporting inventory performance at all sites.

Assists in generating and tracking purchase orders based on demand and reordering parameters, monitors supplier lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.

Communicates with vendors regarding order updates, discrepancies, and delivery issues in support of the supply chain team.

Helps maintain vendor data, pricing, and product information within operations system.

Supports sourcing activities and cost analysis when needed.
