We are looking for an IT Governance Manager to establish, mature and embed the IT governance function across the organisation.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will support the execution of the IT Strategy & Roadmap and help ensure that technology, applications, information, vendors and IT services are aligned with business objectives.
Day-to-day IT services are delivered through external partners, while governance, coordination and oversight remain internal responsibilities. You will act as the link between business stakeholders, service providers and management, driving governance adoption, stakeholder alignment and successful execution of the IT roadmap, helping to ensure that technology investments, services and initiatives deliver measurable business value.
The role combines IT governance, vendor management, portfolio management, application governance, information governance and transformation coordination, offering an excellent opportunity to develop into a broad governance and transformation role within a growing international organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Transformation
- Support execution of the IT Strategy & Roadmap.
- Coordinate governance processes, reporting and decision-making forums.
- Help establish governance standards, policies and ways of working.
- Drive adoption of governance processes and new ways of working across the organisation.
- Build stakeholder support for governance and transformation initiatives.
- Monitor roadmap progress, risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate relationships with MSP, SOC and other strategic technology partners.
- Monitor supplier performance and service quality against agreed targets.
- Facilitate service reviews and supplier governance meetings.
- Support contract management, renewals and vendor performance improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary coordination point between business stakeholders and technology partners.
- Support business demand management and initiative prioritisation.
- Maintain visibility of the IT portfolio, technology investments and roadmap.
- Support the establishment of application ownership, lifecycle governance and rationalisation initiatives.
- Support information ownership and promote information governance, information quality and controlled information management
- Support architecture governance and promote adherence to agreed standards and principles.
- Support transparency and governance across the application portfolio.
- Coordinate cybersecurity governance and risk management activities.
- Support compliance, audit and security initiatives.
- Monitor technology-related risks and mitigation actions.
- Support security reporting and governance reviews.
- Promote awareness of security and governance policies.
- Promote risk awareness and security-conscious decision-making across the organisation
- Support visibility and control of technology costs and investments.
- Assist with business cases and value realisation activities.
- Support IT budget tracking, contracts and licensing administration.
- Help ensure technology initiatives support business priorities and growth objectives.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in IT governance, IT service management, vendor management, PMO, information management, business applications or related roles.
- Experience working with outsourced IT service providers and/or multi-vendor environments.
- Experience coordinating stakeholders, suppliers, projects or governance processes across business and IT.
- Experience driving stakeholder adoption, governance implementation, process improvement and organisational change initiatives.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different organisational levels.
- Affinity with enterprise architecture, application governance, information management and technology governance.
- Knowledge of IT risk management, compliance, cybersecurity or information security governance.
- A structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach combined with a hands-on mindset.
- Experience in an international, technology-driven or growing organisation is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
