The Electrical Journeyman performs advanced electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on construction projects. This role ensures that work adheres to job specific prints, codes, and safety standards while mentoring Electrical Apprentices. This role is based out of the surrounding Lake Charles, LA area.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Test electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Mentor and train Electrical Apprentices.
• Located in Lake Charles, LA

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
