Job Description

We're looking for a Jr. Technical Architect to serve as a strategic partner to our Development leader, bridging the business and engineering worlds. In this role, you will take full ownership of architectural decisions end-to-end, freeing senior leadership to operate at a higher altitude while you drive clarity, structure, and forward momentum on the ground. This position requires 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale architectures, a genuine enthusiasm for AI, and the ability to operate independently with strong judgment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and own technical architecture for key systems, ensuring solutions are stable, secure, and built to scale

• Lead architectural reviews, establish standards, and serve as the final technical word on major design decisions

• Work directly with business teams to deeply understand their needs, then translate those needs into clear technical paths forward

• Serve as an equal partner in boardroom conversations and technical deep-dives, adjusting your communication style to the audience

• Champion the intelligent use of AI across our technology stack; evaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks, identify where they create real leverage, and guide the team on responsible, high-impact adoption

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure architectural intent is carried through to implementation

• Provide hands-on guidance on performance optimization, system design, and best practices without being a bottleneck

• Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies, tools, and architectural patterns and bring informed recommendations to leadership on where to invest, what to adopt, and what to avoid

• Operate independently, make sound decisions without constant direction, and exercise strong judgment on when to escalate

• Comply with all company regulations, policies, procedures, and safety rules
