A.T. Kearney, Inc. has multiple openings for Kearney Manager(s) in Chicago, IL (with extensive travel and/or possible relocation in unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.) to specialize in providing management-consulting services to private and public organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct organizational studies and evaluations and develop solutions or alternative methods to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Supervise the consulting team in their efforts to: gather and analyze data on problems or procedures, develop solutions and alternative methods of proceeding, confer with personnel to ensure successful functioning of newly implanted systems or procedures, interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed and methods, equipment and personnel used, document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes, and plan study of work problems and procedures.
Lead work simplification and measurement studies including benchmarking, best practices, and competitor assessment studies.
Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Directly advise clients on organizational strategy to solve problems and transform operations.
Confer with management and consulting team to identify problems and improvements in order to recommend implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Supervise activities of a team of Associates and Business Analysts.
Headquarters of U.S. is in Chicago, IL (with extensive travel and/or possible relocation in unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.) Up to 80% domestic and/or international travel required. Telecommuting is permitted.

We want to hear from you if you have:
Education Requirement: Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.
Work Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience in the field of Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.
Alternate Acceptable Education and/or Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field and 6 Years of experience in the field of Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.
Specific Skills or Other Requirements: Experience to include:
Experience leading cross-functional projects/teams;
Conducts extensive primary and secondary research;
Drives strategic decisions for clients (e.g. cost structure assessment, operational improvement strategy, organizational restructuring);
Develops business case and cost-benefit analysis for new processes, organization or systems roll-out;
Executes detailed project plans to assure successful delivery.

Compensation
The annual compensation range for this position is $212,000 to $235,000. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual compensation within the range is determined through a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. In addition to base salary, individuals may be eligible for additional compensation and benefits consistent with company programs.
