Job Description

* Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and growth-focused professional to lead Agency Partnerships across South India, managing both independent and network agencies (excluding GroupM). The role requires a strong understanding of digital media, OTT, content monetization, agency trading ecosystems, and regional market dynamics.
The individual will be responsible for driving agency-led revenue growth through strategic partnerships, annual trading agreements, innovative content integrations, and market expansion initiatives while positioning JioStar as a preferred growth partner for agencies and advertisers.

* Key Responsibilities

Agency Relationship Management
  *   Own and manage relationships with independent and network agencies across South markets (TN, Kerala, Karnataka, AP/Telangana).
  *   Build strong relationships with agency leadership, planning teams, and trading stakeholders.
  *   Drive long-term strategic partnerships through consultative engagement and solution-led selling.

Revenue Ownership & Business Growth
  *   Own and drive revenue targets across assigned agency portfolios.
  *   Lead annual incentive negotiations, volume deals (VDs), and trading agreements.
  *   Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell across OTT, CTV, Impact, Sponsorships, and Performance solutions.
  *   Unlock new business opportunities from SMBs, regional advertisers, and emerging brands via agency ecosystems.

Content Monetization & Strategic Initiatives
  *   Drive monetization of premium content through sponsorships, integrations, and custom brand solutions.
  *   Create market-specific packages for regional properties, festive opportunities, sports, and election campaigns.
  *   Work closely with internal teams to pitch innovative ad formats, advanced targeting, and engagement-led solutions.

Agency Enablement & Thought Leadership
  *   Conduct workshops and roadshows with agencies on content, measurement, audience targeting, and platform capabilities.
  *   Position JioStar as a strategic growth partner through GTM initiatives and consultative planning support.
  *   Drive adoption of new ad products, advanced measurement frameworks, and innovative media solutions.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
  *   Track market trends, competitor activity, agency structures, and advertiser behavior.
  *   Provide actionable insights to internal teams for refining GTM and monetization strategies.
  *   Identify emerging opportunities across regional and mid-tier agency ecosystems.

Cross-functional Collaboration
  *   Collaborate with Sales, Strategy, Brand Solutions, Product, Measurement, and Ad Operations teams.
  *   Ensure smooth execution of campaigns, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
  *   Align internal stakeholders on pricing, inventory, execution timelines, and delivery..

* Preferred Education & Experience

8–12 years of experience in digital media, OTT, ad-tech, or agency partnerships roles.
  Strong understanding of:
     *   Digital branding & performance ecosystem
     *   OTT / CTV advertising
     *   Media planning and buying
     *   Audience targeting & measurement solutions
     *   Regional market dynamics

  

Experience working with leading digital publishers, OTT platforms, or media networks.
  *   Exposure to advanced measurement and attribution frameworks.
  *   Strong network within agency ecosystems across South markets.
  *   Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive long-term partnerships.
