The role

To support effective cost management and decision making by providing accurate overhead analysis, insightful variance explanations, and robust forecasting. The role ensures alignment with budgetary goals and drives financial efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and timely reporting.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Leverage the Separation Blueprint Financials to setup 2026-2028 budget processes for overheads and global marketing investment to deliver financial plan and targets
  • Partner with Group functions IT / HR / Legal / Finance / Communications / Workplace to manage central costs within budget and build the future fit cost models
  • Lead and develop the ice cream cost control team for IT / HR / Legal / Finance / Communications / Workplace
  • Ensure smooth month / quarter end process alongside the financial control team
  • Analysis of actual costs versus forecast and versus run rate of budget
  • Timely intervention with budget champions to ensure costs will land in line with budgets
  • Create required reports and dashboards to enhance visibility on different aspects of budget management
  • Partner with HR on FTE mapping to cost centers and ensuring people cost and their TT&E are landing in correct budget lines
  • Support global functions on cost center management within budget management tools
  • Ensure transparency and ownership of costs and compliance to key policies/standards across our cost base
  • Support team on dynamic resource allocation, budget transfers and the TSAs
  • Proficient in Excel

We're looking for someone who

  • Has 10+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis and cost control- Chartered Accountant/ICWA/MBA Finance
  • Exposure in Overhead Analysis, budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
  • Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working
