Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Landscaping Specialist to join our Community Services Landscaping Team B Unit 3 team located at the Purcell Health Clinic working 7:00AM-4:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

Summary:

Performs a variety of lawn care and landscaping needs. Responsible for the maintenance, preservation and general care of the Chickasaw Nation sports complex facility and fields.

Responsibilities:

* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Operates mowers, string trimmers, aerators, sprinklers, chain saws and other landscaping power and hand tools
* Removes debris, cleans flowerbeds and prunes bushes as needed at assigned facility
* Establishes procedures to enhance and maintain the overall condition of the sports fields, including lining, marking, grass maintenance, watering and fertilization
* Loads and unloads dirt, gravel, trash and other debris including collection and disposal of waste at assigned facility
* Re-works and conditions sports fields for play before, during and after games
* Operates, loads and tows dump trucks, trucks, tractors, or other light construction equipment as needed
* Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes
* Maintains equipment/machinery, systems and building by completing preventive maintenance schedules
* Sweeps walkways, removes litter, empties exterior trashcans and maintains paved areas
* Performs all other duties as assigned
