Position Summary:
The Laser Cutter / T-DRILL Operator is responsible for setting up and operating T-DRILL tube processing equipment and laser cutting machines to manufacture high-quality parts and components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. This position focuses on machine operation, quality inspection, and maintaining production efficiency. Programming experience is not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate T-DRILL machines to produce branch connections and tube fabrication components according to specifications.
- Operate laser cutting equipment to cut metal materials accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products from machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and production schedules.
- Perform machine setup adjustments and tooling changes as required.
- Inspect parts using measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members regarding production requirements and equipment concerns.
- Assist with other fabrication and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or machine operator experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use measuring tools and perform dimensional inspections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating laser cutting equipment.
- Experience operating T-DRILL or tube fabrication equipment.
- Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (if applicable).

Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Salary Range: $27 - $29/hour, plus shift differential
