Job Description:Leasing Consultant | $18 - $20.00/hour base + commissions. Expected total annual compensation of $55,000–$65,000+

This is a high-visibility onsite leasing role at Vineyards at Paseo Del Sol, our 288-unit apartment community in Temecula, CA, where top performers are rewarded for leasing volume, quality, and sustained performance.

Expected total annual compensation of $55,000–$65,000+, including a base pay of $18 - $20.00 per hour plus high-volume, lucrative commission opportunities. You will be provided a base pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
Multiple ways to increase your commission per lease include:
Longer lease term: 18+ month or longer vs. the standard 12-month length
Higher rent rate unit: Updated finishes, larger floorplan, better view, etc.
Exceeding monthly goal: Several tiers to increase percentage of total lease value earned per lease
25% Rent Discount at any AIR community. Option to live onsite with zero commute or at a nearby AIR community.
What You Will Do
- Own your pipeline from first inquiry through signed lease by following AIR’s sales process with urgency, strong follow-up, and disciplined conversion activity.
- Schedule and conduct compelling community tours that sell lifestyle, value, and apartment fit — and convert qualified traffic into leases.
- Consistently meet or surpass monthly leasing goals and maintain a track record of strong closing performance.
- Use CRM tools, lead management systems to track follow-up, manage prospect activity, and improve response speed and conversion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our residents, creating moments that matter at every opportunity.
- Provide leasing support to all communities within the AIR portfolio as needed.
- Contribute to community marketing efforts, including local outreach, digital engagement, and community-level lead generation.
- Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and Regulations
Who You Are

What You Have
- 2+ years of sales experience with a strong record of meeting or exceeding goals in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment
- Preferred backgrounds include property management, wireless retail, automotive sales, real estate, hospitality sales, retail sales, restaurant sales leadership, home services, or other high-volume consultative sales environments
- Demonstrated success following a structured sales process, managing follow-up, and converting leads into signed agreements
- Evidence of tenure and growth, including sustained success in one role or with one employer long enough to show progression and performance consistency
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to address current and future resident needs
- Comfortable using CRM platforms, lead management tools, and leasing technology
- Flexible schedule with availability to work during our office hours. Typical schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday, 10am-7pm (hours may vary based on community and season).
- Reliable transportation.
