Interacts with library patrons to assist them in selecting materials and meeting informational needs. Performs basic searches using electronic, resources, databases and print sources to answer patron inquiries.

Oversees activities in the Law Library in the absence of the Law Librarian

Instructs and trains new employees. Provides guidance and support to staff in the use of bibliographic and computer-assisted services. May plan and review work of other employees.

Assists with collection development and maintenance. Participates in

reviewing and selecting databases.

Provides educational services to county library staff, the public, attorneys,

elected officials and others. Teaches Express Classes.

May provide copy cataloging services for law library materials.

Participates in outreach services to the community

Keeps statistical records of unit activities and prepares appropriate reports.

Other duties as assigned

Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a

local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

SALARY: $25.71-MIN to $32.14-Hourly
