Licensing Representative (Full-Time, Union)
Location: 103rd Street – South Side of Chicago
Salary: $56,992 annually

Position Summary
The Licensing Representative is responsible for evaluating, licensing, and monitoring foster homes to ensure compliance with DCFS regulations, state laws, and federal standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for foster parents throughout the licensing process and ongoing monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct foster home studies, interviews, inspections, and licensing reviews
- Monitor compliance with DCFS standards and state regulations
- Perform home visits and investigate licensing concerns
- Provide guidance and support to foster parents
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with internal and external partners
- Prepare licensing recommendations and reports

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in child welfare, licensing, or regulatory compliance preferred
- Knowledge of DCFS regulations and child welfare practices
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
- Ability to pass a background check
