Job Description

Summary

Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. Loan admin acts as a support to the loan officer.

Key Duties

  • Prepares and reviews all account documentation pertinent to loans.
  • Reviews loan files to ensure the completeness of the file, and that all collateral has been properly secured.
  • Resolves exceptions with loan officers.
  • Remains current on all pertinent lending and other financial institution-related laws and regulations.
  • Covers phone calls and customer's needs as necessary.
  • Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable laws.
  • Acts as the Bank's primary focal point for managing and controlling the bank's interests and operational risks in the delivery of the entire bank's loan portfolio.
  • Receives and processes customer requests for loan advances.
  • Performs all duties as assigned.

  • Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, and information retention.
  • Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy.
  • Familiar with banking regulations and responsibilities relating to each including a working knowledge of UCC titles, mortgages, liens, and other aspects of loan collateral position.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication & organizational skills.
  • Competence with computers and 10-key calculator.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed.
  • The ability to make sound decision regarding customer transactions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
