Summary
Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. Loan admin acts as a support to the loan officer.
Key Duties
- Prepares and reviews all account documentation pertinent to loans.
- Reviews loan files to ensure the completeness of the file, and that all collateral has been properly secured.
- Resolves exceptions with loan officers.
- Remains current on all pertinent lending and other financial institution-related laws and regulations.
- Covers phone calls and customer's needs as necessary.
- Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable laws.
- Acts as the Bank's primary focal point for managing and controlling the bank's interests and operational risks in the delivery of the entire bank's loan portfolio.
- Receives and processes customer requests for loan advances.
- Performs all duties as assigned.

- Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, and information retention.
- Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy.
- Familiar with banking regulations and responsibilities relating to each including a working knowledge of UCC titles, mortgages, liens, and other aspects of loan collateral position.
- Mathematical skills.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
- Competence with computers and 10-key calculator.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed.
- The ability to make sound decision regarding customer transactions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
