IHMVCU is recruiting for a Loan Servicing Assistant to join the team! The Loan Servicing Assistant role supports our Consumer, Real Estate, and Commercial Servicing departments by processing loan-related transactions, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate and timely servicing of member accounts. The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous financial institution, lending, servicing, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with policies and procedures
What you'll do:
- Process incoming loan payments, payoffs, refunds, and loan servicing transactions
- Accurately record and maintain vehicle titles, electronic titles, and supporting loan documentation
- Organize and process incoming departmental mail according to service level expectations
- Perform account research, loan adjustments, exception processing, balancing, and general ledger-related tasks
- Review reports and assist with monitoring low-balance loans and other servicing activities
- Maintain files, reports, key performance metrics, and departmental records
- Support the overall success of the Loan Servicing team through accuracy, efficiency, and strong problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements
