Location Requirement: Western U.S. Territory
Candidates must currently reside in and have experience selling within one or more of the following states:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.
Preference will be given to candidates with established relationships and market knowledge within these markets.
Simpli.fi is seeking a results-driven Local Sales Director to accelerate new advertising revenue across local agencies, regional advertisers, and SMB markets throughout the Western United States.
This is a true new-business hunting role focused on generating and closing net-new revenue. We are looking for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and creating opportunities from scratch while helping clients solve business challenges through data-driven digital advertising solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong outbound sales skills with a genuine curiosity for digital marketing and programmatic advertising. Success in this role comes from consistently generating pipeline, learning the platform, building relationships within your territory, and maintaining a disciplined sales process.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with local agencies, advertisers, and SMB clients throughout the Western U.S
- Build and maintain a consistent self-generated pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development
- Execute a strategic territory plan designed to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals, challenges, and marketing objectives
- Develop customized proposals and recommendations aligned to client business goals.
- Manage sales activity, pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and campaign execution
- Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for continued growth and expansion
YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Proven success in quota-carrying, new business sales environments
- Demonstrated ability to self-source opportunities and build pipeline from prospecting through close
- Experience selling to local businesses, regional advertisers, agencies, or SMB clients preferred
- Background in digital advertising, programmatic media, local media, agency sales, broadcast media, or consultative B2B sales strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of solution-based selling and relationship-driven sales processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn complex products and technical concepts quickly
- Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for pipeline management and forecasting
- Strong prospecting discipline and a hunter mentality
- Digital mindset with an interest in marketing technology, advertising platforms, and client performance metrics
- Highly coachable, adaptable, and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales goals
- Existing relationships within the Western U.S. territory are a plus.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed to support client meetings and business development activitie
