Who You Are:
As a Logistics Associate at The Urban Electric Co., you are an important part of the Logistics team, helping keep materials, products, and information moving throughout the facility. You enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable supporting a variety of logistics functions including Kitting, Inventory, Stow-away, Shipping, Receiving, and Transport. You are dependable, eager to learn, and take pride in staying organized and accurate in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities could include receiving and labeling materials, assisting with inventory organization, preparing kits for production, moving materials throughout the facility, and helping stage outbound shipments. You will work closely with team members across departments to support production schedules and ensure materials are in the right place at the right time.
This is an associate level role designed for someone who is motivated to learn logistics operations and build experience in inventory and warehouse processes. Success in this role comes from a positive attitude, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A Day in the Life:
In any given day, you might find yourself doing these job-related tasks.
- Support daily activities across Kitting, Inventory, Stow-away, Shipping, Receiving, and Transport operations
- Receive, label, and organize incoming materials and parts.
- Assist with creating and delivering kits and sub-assemblies to production areas.
- Help verify incoming shipments by checking quantities and part numbers.
- Support staging and preparation of outbound shipments and shipping documentation.
- Move materials and finished goods safely throughout the facility.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage and work areas.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines while completing daily tasks.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to help support production timelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and help report discrepancies when identified.
- Learn and safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners as trained
Data Management
- Use the company’s ERP system and scanners to complete logistics transactions accurately.
- Update inventory information and material movement records as needed.
- Assist with tracking kit readiness and inventory accuracy.
- Help identify and communicate shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect parts to leadership.
- Support basic reporting and documentation related to logistics activities.
- You are proactive, dependable, and show initiative in areas like organization, team communication, and troubleshooting.
- You are physically capable of moving parts, navigating warehouse conditions, and helping drive team efforts during high volume periods.

- Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, several times a day.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate a forklift or be trained to do so.
Personal Protective Equipment Required:
- Steel Toe Boots (company provided voucher each year)
Earnings - Starting Logistics Associates begin at $20.00/hour!
