Eastern States Construction Service, Inc. (Eastern States), a family-owned business since 1953, is a Heavy/Highway and Site Development Construction Company specializing in public sewer, water, site development and heavy/highway construction projects with a roster of major public and private clients, including state and local governments, corporations, regional construction managers and private developers in the Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey region.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lowboy Truck Driver to join our team. If you have a strong work ethic, take pride in safe equipment operation, and enjoy working in a hands-on, outdoor environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Safely operate a Class A truck with a lowboy trailer
- Load, secure, and transport construction equipment to various job sites
- Ensure all loads are properly balanced and secured for safe transport
- Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections
- Work closely with site teams to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid CDL-A license
- Clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating Class A trucks (lowboy experience preferred)
- Ability to operate and handle heavy construction equipment
- Physically capable of loading/unloading and working in outdoor conditions
- Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Drug screening and background check required
