Job Summary

Hopkins Propane, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company, in Stigler, OK is seeking a motivated Propane Delivery Driver to join the team! This position is responsible for loading, transporting and delivering propane to our residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck (3,000 - 5,000 gallon capacity). A Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required for this role. 

This position also requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude in the face of challenges, and the ability to execute on identified solutions. Above all else, personal safety and the safety of our customers must take on the highest priority.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Complies with all city, state, and federal regulations
  • Loads, secures, transports, and delivers propane and fuel to residential/commercial locations
  • Performs pre and post-trip inspections on equipment used for the transportation of hazardous materials
  • Maintains and completes accurate records by documenting truck inspections, hours of service, product transported, and miles driven in compliance with all DOT regulations
  • Maintains the operational efficiency of vehicles by monitoring truck maintenance needs, conducting minor repairs and conducting daily DOT truck inspections to ensure maximum vehicle safety
  • Ensures that delivery vehicle receives service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
