Shift

• Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overtime as needed

Pay

• $19.00/hour
• +$1.00/hr shift differential for 2nd shift

Position Summary

Jamco Products is seeking a CNC Laser Machine Operator to set up and operate fabrication equipment including laser, brake, and punch press machines. This role supports production by ensuring quality parts are produced safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser, press brake, folder, or punch press machines
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
• Select programs and monitor machine operation to ensure quality output
• Measure and inspect finished parts using gauges and measuring tools
• Identify and report defects; perform rework as needed
• Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication)
• Use grinders/tools to remove burrs and sharp edges
• Move materials using forklifts or cranes (as needed)
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
• CNC operating experience a plus
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible overtime

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing setting with noise, dust, and machinery
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs (team lift over 50 lbs)
• Work in varying temperatures
