Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Machinist ready for a new challenge? We're looking for a talented Hot Stamp / Machinist to join our growing team! This is more than just a job — it's an opportunity to showcase your machining expertise in a role that values precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving. This role will ensure smooth production operations through the skilled use of equipment and adherence to workplace safety practices.
What You'll Do:
You will be responsible for hot stamping our injection-molded waste bins and custom packaging solutions. You will manufacture mounting plates for various hot stamp sizes and assist with mold version changes.
- Operate shop equipment such as milling machines, band saws, and drill presses.
- Safely utilize a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Train and operate a forklift as needed and manage an overhead crane in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Complete assigned work orders promptly, accurately, and with pride.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Identify and report the need for spare or replacement parts to ensure smooth operations.
- Be available for overtime work when required and maintain consistent punctuality.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and expand technical expertise.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Minimum one year of experience working with machine shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to adapt to changing workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
