Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Mainline Service Advisor to join our growing dealership team. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced automotive service environment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.



As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department — helping ensure repairs and maintenance are completed accurately, efficiently, and with excellent communication throughout the process.



Responsibilities




  • Greet customers promptly and professionally

  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and document repair needs accurately

  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs

  • Prepare repair orders and communicate estimates, timelines, and recommendations clearly

  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status updates

  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate repairs

  • Review completed work with customers and explain services performed

  • Help maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores

  • Follow dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures

  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing daily service traffic



Qualifications




  • Minimum of 4 years of automotive service advisor experience in an automotive service environment preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

  • Automotive knowledge is required

Schedule



This is a full-time position. Usual hours of work are Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
