Position Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced industrial operation. This hands-on role requires the ability to independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems. Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures
- Maintain production equipment including presses, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated systems
- Restore equipment quickly to minimize downtime
Electrical Systems
- Work on 480V / 3-phase systems, motor controls, and electrical panels
- Troubleshoot control circuits, relays, contactors, sensors, and safety devices
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting (fault finding, I/O checks, resets)
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
- Repair and maintain pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, regulators, and actuators
- Identify leaks, pressure issues, and system inefficiencies
Mechanical & Fabrication
- Repair and replace bearings, chains, belts, couplings, and drive systems
- Perform alignments and mechanical adjustments
- Fabricate or modify parts using welding, cutting, and basic machining
Facilities Maintenance
- Support building systems including lighting, HVAC basics, plumbing, and utilities
- Maintain compressors, cooling systems, and plant infrastructure
- Perform general facility repairs
Preventive Maintenance & Reliability
- Perform scheduled PMs and inspections
- Identify potential failures before they occur
- Support continuous improvement and uptime initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong multi-discipline capability across:
- Mechanical systems
- Industrial electrical systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance (or related field)
- Experience in high-speed or hydraulic-driven production environments
- Familiarity with PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Welding/fabrication experience
- Experience with CMMS systems
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in industrial conditions (heat, noise, moving equipment)
Work Environment
- Manufacturing / production facility
- May require overtime, weekends, or emergency call-ins
- Fast-paced, high-accountability environment
