Description
Job Purpose
This hands-on position is responsible for supervising plant maintenance personnel in multiple shifts. Emphasizing preventative/predictive maintenance with permanent corrective actions and be able to react to plant operation needs in an urgent professional manner.
Tasks/Essential Duties
- Training / employee development, development of best practice work instructions and assisting team members in technical knowledge and skills
- Ensure all Maintenance activities are completed appropriately and accurately recorded in CMMS system
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of all equipment and the overall facility
- Support day-to-day machine and plant operations (repairs, troubleshooting, planning)
- Specification / selection, acquiring and organizing of appropriate spare parts
- Planning and assisting outside contractors for plant, equipment, and various activities
- Verify and Authorize timecards
- Assign overtime as needed according to the union contract
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures (5S, Safety, ISO, ARC policies, Union contract)
Leadership tasks
- Supervising maintenance personnel including planning, organizing, and tracking of Maintenance department activities
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 plus years of hands-on experience
- Industrial mechanical, electrical and electronics troubleshooting experience required
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
