Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.


  • Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position.


  • Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies, as well as enforce the compliance and implementation of each through subordinates.


  • Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time; ensures that the Attendance Policy is enforced consistently through subordinates.


  • Fabricating or modifying machines or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing ones.


  • Maintain preventative maintenance program for all machines and equipment, along with buildings and grounds.


  • Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.


  • Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.


· Assists with training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.


  • Confers with management, engineering and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.


  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.



· Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.



· Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.


  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of all facility equipment and grounds.


  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.


  • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.


  • Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.


  • Completes other special assignments as required.


  • Review work orders to determine immediate actions required.


  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance on a timely basis.


  • Operate forklift, lift truck, and scissor lift.

Education and/or Experience:

 

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five to seven years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Computer Skills:

 

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet software knowledge, Work Order software; Ability to learn new software as needed.
