Job Description

Position Summary


Draexlmaier Automotive is seeking a skilled and driven Production Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining production equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency within our facility.


 


Key Responsibilities




  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance.




  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.




  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.




  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.




  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repairs, and parts usage.




  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment functionality and process performance.




  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.




  • Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and modifications as needed.




 


Qualifications




  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.




  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.




  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.




  • Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and automated production equipment is highly desirable.




  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.




  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.




  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
