Maintenance Technician- Beach Properties of Hilton Head

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Basic home repairs on a daily basis (i.e. troubleshooting, basic plumbing, carpentry, locks, HVAC, pool, dry wall repair, appliances, electrical, etc)
  • Assisting Property Managers, owners and guests as needed
  • Recording and remittance of completed work orders to lead maintenance technician at the end of each work day
  • Proper notations on all work orders, particularly if additional follow up required
  • Additional duties as assigned by General Manager and Property Managers
  • Performing other tasks or requests consistent with fulfilling company objectives

 

Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Strong field experience in multiple areas
  • Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to work most weekends and holidays

 

Physically you can anticipate to:

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
  • Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
  • Subject to internal and external environmental conditions
