Duties

Serves as a Management Assistant for the MSCOE Directorate of Training (DOT) Operations and Support Division.,Performing routine and recurring clerical duties which facilitate the conduct of more complex and detailed functions conducted by the supervisor and higher graded coworkers.,Maintain database files that contain a record of each report/product prepared by the activity,Track incoming staff actions, correspondence, and other communications or materials.,Utilize spreadsheet software and creates, maintains ,manipulates data and calculates numerical and narrative data to provide a variety of electronically printed reports.,Work independently resolving recurring and non-recurring problems.,Receive and review incoming mail directives, orders, bulletins,,Maintain appointment book and calendar.,Serve as coordinator for computer access, e-mail access, and server access for the Directorate.,Prepare correspondence of a routine nature.

Current Civilian Employees of U.S. Army T2COM Domestic Defense Industrial Base/Major Range and Test Facilities Base Civilian Personnel Workforce (DIB and MRTFB) In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performs routine and recurring clerical duties 2) Maintains database files 3) Maintains appointment book and calendar. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Proficiency required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
