The ideal candidate is a problem solver who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to innovative technology solutions. This position offers the opportunity to grow into an independent technical role supporting engineering reviews, configuration management activities, and requirements management with increasing responsibility.

  • Conduct configuration and requirements research to support engineering change proposals (ECPs), MBPS/PDM initiatives, technical reviews, and engineering decision-making by providing accurate technical data and reports.
  • Partner with Systems Engineers and Configuration Managers to maintain technical baselines, support engineering change activities, and ensure accurate traceability between system requirements and configuration-controlled technical data.
  • Generate reports, traceability matrices, and configuration documentation from CMPro and DOORS to support design reviews, audits, testing activities, and customer deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Configuration Management, Systems Engineering and project stakeholders by participating in technical meetings, tracking action items, resolving configuration and requirements discrepancies, and supporting continuous process improvement.

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Experience with CMPro.
    • Experience with IBM DOORS.
    • Experience supporting Navy or DoD engineering programs.
    • Experience with configuration management principles.
    • Experience working with relational databases or VBA/macros.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
