We are looking for a Quality Manager - Corporate to join our Team and support all of the Kaiser Aluminum plants in North America!

 

The Quality Manager - Corporate supports enterprise-wide Quality and Product Integrity initiatives through coordination, deployment, and continuous improvement of quality systems, standards, and programs.

 

This role acts as a key connector between Corporate Quality, Manufacturing, and Advanced Engineering to drive alignment, ensure consistent execution of KaiserSelect and other quality frameworks, and strengthen compliance and performance across all sites.

 

This role provides an opportunity to influence quality performance across multiple sites, work cross-functionally with Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing teams, and contribute to enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

 

This position can be based either near a specific Kaiser plant location Spokane or Richland Washington, Evansville Indiana, Los Angeles California, Phoenix Arizona, Kalamazoo Michigan, Newark Ohio, Bellwood Virginia and Franklin Tennessee.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Quality and Vital Few (VF) SMART planning and deployment, ensuring alignment with operational priorities, proactive risk mitigation, and continuous improvement outcomes
  • Lead KaiserSelect auditing and training, assessing compliance, reporting performance, and driving improvement actions across sites
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Advanced Engineering (AE) and Manufacturing to support deployment, sustainment, and continuous improvement of KaiserSelect products and processes
  • Support deployment and enhancement of quality management systems, including ISO, IATF/TS, AS, NADCAP, CQI-9, and customer-specific requirements
  • Facilitate the identification, sharing, and implementation of quality best practices across the enterprise
  • Provide oversight of industry specification compliance and camera system surveys to ensure adherence to standards and effective risk identification
  • Partner with Manufacturing to drive corrective actions, gap closure, and continuous improvement efforts stemming from audits, VF initiatives, surveys, and identified risks
  • Support quality event response activities, including coordination of data collection, tracking containment actions, and ensuring follow-through on corrective measures

  • Supports the deployment of an enterprise quality culture by reinforcing behaviors aligned with corporate values at the site and functional level
  • Integrates quality expectations and cultural behaviors into audits, training, and KaiserSelect® activities
  • Promotes open communication, issue escalation, and accountability through daily interactions with site teams
  • Identifies and shares best practices that strengthen quality ownership and engagement across the organization
  • Mentors site teams on consistent application of standards, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement behaviors
  • Provides feedback to leadership on culture gaps and opportunities observed during audits, surveys, and site engagement
