The Opportunity
The Manager – Finance is responsible for supporting financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and preparing analysis and recommendations to enhance performance for the Operating Company.  This role supports budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance, while also managing a team of individual contributors.

How You'll Work

Reporting Structure: The Manager - Finance reports to the Controller, Dedicated Solutions. 
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA onsite

What You'll Do

  • Financial Accuracy and Month-End Close: Ensure the accuracy of financial data, including performing or reviewing month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor staff, including writing performance appraisals, hiring, disciplining, and termination decisions with management approval
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Execution: Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating the budgeting and forecasting processes for the business unit or international support budgets
  • Data Consolidation ad Presentation: Consolidate and present financial data, including preparing information for quarterly board packages
  • Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with internal personnel to support the business unit and serve as a prime contact for financial information
  • Operational Metrics Monitoring: Understand and monitor key operating metrics, providing management with analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency, drive cost savings, and enhance performance.  
  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide actionable insights and financial guidance to support business growth and operational excellence
  • Special Projects: Lead and support financial projects, including process improvements and cost-optimization initiatives
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards
  • Accountability and Reliability: Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs

What You Bring

  • Education: Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience: 7 or more years of finance and/or accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment. Activities include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, using standard office equipment, and communicating with colleagues or customers. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
