Responsibilities:

External Reporting – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management financial packages, with supporting analysis and other management reports as requested. Analyze and clearly articulate the company’s financial results, including preparation of balance sheet, income statement fluctuation, and cash flow analyses.

External Reporting – Prepare, assist in the preparation, and review of the company’s unaudited and audited financial statements and related footnote disclosures. Review, research, and apply relevant technical accounting and disclosure matters, ensuring they are benchmarked and appropriately documented. Provide technical accounting support on new and complex transactions, and review the impact and application of new accounting pronouncements.

Audits and Controls – Prepare and document key processes and internal controls; monitor compliance with established controls; prepare and review key audit and reporting schedules; and coordinate the filing of financial statements in relevant jurisdictions.

Regulatory – Monitor compliance with relevant debt covenants, and complete surveys and other required regulatory compliance filings. Telecommuting permitted; three (3) days per week in office required.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the accounting and finance field, including the preparation of management financial packages, financial statement analysis, and external financial reporting. Must also possess: 6 years of demonstrated analytical and quantitative proficiency, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting) for balance sheet reconciliations, income statement variance analysis, cash flow projections, and preparation and review of financial models to assess key financial metrics, ratios, and performance indicators; 5 years of experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance function, with demonstrated ability to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and maintain high attention to detail; 3 years of experience in technical accounting, including research, interpretation, application, and documentation of U.S. GAAP and IFRS guidance; review and documentation of complex transactions (e.g., lease accounting, debt instruments, and intercompany transactions); preparation of footnote disclosures; and implementation and evaluation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure full compliance with reporting standards; 3 years of experience with financial systems and enterprise accounting platforms, including advanced use of NetSuite ERP for general ledger management, consolidation, and reporting, or equivalent ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday). Experience should include financial data extraction, system configuration for reporting, and use of business intelligence tools for financial analytics; 3 years of experience working in or providing financial reporting support within the aircraft leasing or aviation finance industry, including familiarity with lease accounting standards, asset impairment assessment, and residual value analysis; 3 years of experience supporting or leading external audits, including preparation and review of audit schedules, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and evaluation of internal controls under SOX or equivalent frameworks; 3 years of Microsoft Word for preparation of management reports and external documentation; 3 years of experience preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial results and variance analysis to senior management, including written and verbal communication of complex financial concepts in clear concise English; and 2 years of experience with regulatory and compliance reporting, including debt covenant monitoring, and coordination of statutory financial filings in multiple jurisdictions (e.g., U.S., Ireland, U.K.). Must be able to successfully complete competency-based interviews. Telecommuting permitted; three (3) days per week in office required. Expected salary range is $141,378 to $221,660/year.
