Job Description

This role is responsible for managing and enhancing the sales support capabilities that serve the UAE Distribution team across both new business acquisition and portfolio retention. 

The position oversees a team of sales support professionals responsible for producing high quality Large Corporate (LC) and SME quotations, ensuring SLA adherence, and driving continuous improvement across all quote related processes. 

The role also leads the end to end implementation of new business and renewals, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational accuracy, and a seamless customer experience. A core focus is maintaining strong business connectivity and stakeholder alignment across local and international teams.

 

Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management
•    Lead and develop a team of sales support professionals producing SME and LC quotes within defined SLAs.
•    Build a culture of accuracy, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
•    Ensure the team has strong technical knowledge of products, pricing parameters, systems, and quote workflows.

2. Quote Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
•    Own and enhance the end to end quote process for SME and LC business.
•    Improve workflows, tools, templates, and hand offs to increase efficiency, accuracy, and response quality.
•    Ensure quote processes support early opportunity shaping and strong alignment with Distribution and key business partners.
•    Embed consistent, repeatable ways of working that deliver high quality outputs and meet customer expectations.
•    Ensure all quote inputs from Product, Pricing, Operations, and other stakeholders are timely, aligned, and usable.

3. New Business & Renewal Implementation
•    Lead the coordination and execution of new business and renewal implementations for SME and LC clients.
•    Ensure all operational, regulatory, and customer requirements are met consistently and accurately.
•    Strengthen and maintain the implementation governance framework, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and handover points.
•    Drive continuous improvement in implementation activities to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Business Connectivity
•    Act as a key coordination point between UAE Distribution, local partners, and international AXA teams.
•    Liaise with intermediaries on administrative, quotation, and implementation queries.
•    Build strong working relationships with Product, Pricing, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to support seamless sales execution.
•    Ensure alignment and effective communication across all parties involved in quote and implementation processes.
 
 

Qualifications

•    Proven experience managing sales support or sales operations teams. 
•    Strong understanding of SME and LC quote processes, pricing inputs, and distribution dynamics. 
•    Demonstrated ability to optimize workflows and improve process efficiency. 
•    Strong stakeholder management abilities across commercial, operational, and regulatory functions. 
•    Excellent organisational, problem solving, and communication skills.
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience within the UAE IPMI market
•    Commercial awareness and an understanding of the corporate business environment
•    Customer centric – always maintain a customer focused approach 
•    Ability to work collaboratively across global AXA businesses and regions; confident at negotiating and strongly influencing at all levels in a complex matrix organisation
