Southworth International Group, Inc. (SIGI) is seeking an experienced Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead the manufacturing engineering function and managing all employees within the department. The Manager of Manufacturing Engineering provides critical support to manufacturing operations through leadership, technical expertise, process optimization, and collaborative engagement with cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires strong technical proficiency and the ability to thrive in a team-driven environment. Work Location in Manila, Arkansas.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor the team of manufacturing engineers, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while fostering their professional growth and a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Support and enhance manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of innovative manufacturing methodologies
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to established safety and quality protocols
  • Provide guidance on process flow design and fixture development to support production efficiency
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing
  • Participate in Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Engineering Change Request (ECR) processes to maintain product integrity
  • Support and lead continuous improvement (CI) initiatives that align with strategic goals

Qualifications � Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor�s degree in engineering or a comparable technical field
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in data analysis and MEA (Measurement and Evaluation Analysis), with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Solid expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controls, including programming troubleshooting, and system integration
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly across multidisciplinary teams
  • Moderate proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, supporting design and documentation tasks
  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination to meet project goals and timelines
