Description/Summary 

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor this position is responsible for the joining of metal components together using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machined parts, fabrications, and tubular assemblies. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Welds and fabricates flexible and rigid tube assemblies composed of a variety of materials using manual and automatic arc welding processes.
• Assesses welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements.
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
