SLB is seeking a proactive and highly driven individual to join our operations as a Manufacturing Welder at our facility in Mobile, AL, responsible for weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing to manufacture products according to drawings, specifications, and other forms of instruction.

• Perform manual and automatic GTAW welding in accordance with approved procedures, engineering requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform fit-up, alignment, tack welding, preparation, and final welding of production components, assemblies, and test samples.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, purge systems, tooling, and associated manufacturing equipment.
• Perform fabrication, mechanical assembly, product preparation, and related manufacturing activities in support of production, testing, repair, and qualification operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Verify traceability requirements and accurately complete production and quality records.
• Perform visual inspections and basic dimensional verification of completed work.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices as authorized.
• Maintain compliance with all quality, safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements.
• Support training, continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and other manufacturing activities as required.
